Battling Burnout with Biblical Truths

Hi friends! Welcome back to the Scrubbed In & Spirit Led podcast! We are a chapter of Nurses Christian Fellowship based in Rapid City, SD. Our mission is to encourage, equip, and empower nursing and pre-nursing students to be God’s light in the nursing field.
In this week’s episode, your co-hosts, Kirsten and Mackenna, talk about battling burnout in nursing school (and life) with biblical truths! They explore where they think the root of burnout comes from and how we can shift our mindset & lean into what Jesus has for us.

The Lord is so faithful, patient, and kind amidst the overwhelming intensity and fast-paced environment that nursing school can bring. Through this episode, our hope and prayer is that you know your identity is not found in your performance, but in the One who created you—and that sometimes, all Jesus wants from us is simply to fall at His feet. God’s Faithfulness in the Gleaning

Hello! Welcome back to the Scrubbed In & Spirit Led podcast! We are a chapter of Nurses Christian Fellowship based in Rapid City, SD. Our mission is to encourage, equip, and empower nursing and pre-nursing students to be God’s light in the nursing field.
In this week’s episode, your co-hosts, Kirsten and Mackenna, dive into the book of Ruth in the Bible! They also talked with a special guest and NCF Rapid City member, Tessa, about her beautiful testimony and how God has worked in her life. She mentions how even when she felt she was gleaning (to gather “scraps” after a harvest) like Ruth, it was exactly where God needed her to be. 
Tune in to this honest and vulnerable episode about how God is intertwined in our everyday lives, even when it seems like we can’t see Him. It is during our biggest trials and deepest valleys where God shows us just how real He is. Jesus is so good and so faithful to us even when we choose to turn back to our Moab. Through listening to both Tessa’s story and how God worked through Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz’s life, we can know that God’s will for our life is so much better than we could’ve ever imagined.

PPE: Putting on the Armor of God

Hello! Welcome back to the Scrubbed In & Spirit Led podcast! We are a chapter of Nurses Christian Fellowship based in Rapid City, SD. Our mission is to encourage, equip, and empower nursing and pre-nursing students to be God’s light in the nursing field.
In this week’s episode, your co-hosts, Kirsten and Mackenna, dive into Ephesians 6:10-20 in the Bible! They discuss what the Armor of God is, what it means, and how to wear it.
Tune in to this real-time, honest episode about how we can protect ourselves and others when trials and tribulations arise. Although the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (1 Peter 5:8-9) we have a much bigger, greater, and stronger God who enables us to fight back. For nothing can separate us from the love of God, and because of this, we can know that victory is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:35-39). Praise the Lord for that, friends. We love you and are praying this episode can be a blessing in Jesus’ name. 
Please know that this Scripture ministered to us, as we are currently working through this. Our hope is that it ministered to you as well. We are all human and fall short of the glory of God, but because of His grace, we can always strive to live a life that honors Him.
